30. Ian Hunter & Mick Ronson San Francisco 1989 "The only time I felt intimidated in me life was the first time I worked with Mick Ronson." Ian Hunter was reflecting on the recording of "All the Young Dudes" in Rave-Up #16. "I was fucking terrified! He'd worked with David Bowie! I just thought, I'm a fucking rock 'n' roller and now I'm gonna get all this shit thrown at me. It wasn't that bad, but I used to be very aware of that." During our interview, Mick entered the dressing room and sat across from Ian on a small couch. My friend Liz was already sitting on the couch. Mick intimidated her to the point of catatonia and we lost her for the remainder of the interview. |
