After
Many Years pursuing separate projects, Michael Monroe and Andy McCoy joined
forces again in the summer of 2001 to do a Finnish tour and a date in
France in 2002 under the name 'Hanoi Revisited'. The flame of the greatest
Rock and Roll partnership still extant was re-ignited, and on the 27th
March 2002 it was announced that from this point onwards they will continue
as Hanoi Rocks...the legend is reborn in the 21st Century after a decade
of darkness, ready to set the world aflame again.

| With
the addition of Costello Hautamäki, Lacu and Timpa, they
immediately busied themselves in the studio - the first results were heard
on the single 'People Like Me', which also featured the songs 'Lucky' and
'Winged Bull' , as well as a video of"People Like
Me" in mpeg1-format. |

| On
the 29.11.02 the new Hanoi Rocks album was released - 'Twelve Shots On The
Rocks' with the following tracks: Intro, Obscured, Whatcha Want, People
Like Me, In My Darkest Moment, Delirious, A Day Late, A Dollar Short, New
York City, Winged Bull, Watch This, Gypsy Boots, Lucky, Designs On You (+
Up In Smoke). |

| On
the 04.07.03 the new Hanoi Rocks single - 'A Day Late, A Dollar Short' was
released, which also featured the songs 'Bad News' and 'Moonlite Dance'.

Christmas
2003 saw the departure of Guitarist Costello, and in 2004 he was replaced
by Stevie
Klasson
(ex-Johnny Thunders Oddballs/Diamond Dogs). Stevie's first official release
with Hanoi was the CD Single 'Keep our Fire Burning' c/w 'Heaven is Gonna
Be Empty' - Released in Finland on the 18.06.04.
Stevie's time in Hanoi was brief however, and soon Swedish Guitarist Conny
Bloom took over the Second Guitar Role. There was also a change of Bass
Player, With Andy Christell coming in to replace Timpa. The band are currently
setting the world on fire and reminding people what once was and again shall
be. |
